The Miracle of the Fishes

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. The others reply unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore; but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus, though some suspecteth. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

And he saith unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, but still there were no fishes.

And some of the disciples didst begin to grumble as well as raise a keening wail.

Good Thorntonius didst well see his master’s plight, so he loaded both his Noggin Nails with worms from the soil of Cannan. Three times didst he dip his head into the Sea of Galilee.

After the third dunking he looked at Jesus and gave a sign to him, for verily the fishes sought out his baited head.

Jesus telleth his Children to try again with the net. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
