The Temptation of Thorntonius

It came to pass that Thorntonius had a Vision of the Land of Ice and Fire. And in this Land were the Harlot and the Virgin. And the Harlot didst Pour from the Vessel of Sin upon the Ice, and the Virgin Reclineth on a Pale Robe.

The Harlot calleth out to the Man-in-Thorntonius, and caused a Millstone to be placed around his Neck.

The Virgin calleth out to the Child-in-Thorntonius and the Good One didst Hear her. And Thorntonius didst Banish the Harlot to the Fire, so breaking the Millstone into Seven times Seventy Pieces.

He gathered up the Virgin and didst leave this place forever.
